CX-One Software Suite Version 3.0

CX-One Software Suite Version 3.0 covers both software and hardware upgrades from the 2.0 software version. The key differences between these versions is that 3.0 extends the capabilities to new PLC and touch screen HMI products that will be released soon and fully supports EtherNet/IP communications.
Software Version 3.0 Benefits
- Program all of the Omron PLC's
- Program the Full Line of Omron's PLC Integrated Motion Products
- Use Pre-Built Profiles to Shorten HMI Development
- Program the CIP Networks: EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, and CompoNet
Legacy Software for Upgrade Includes: CX-One, CX-Programmer, Syswin, CPT, SSS, LSS, and CVSS

CX-One Hardware Key Features and Benefits
Version 3.0 software supports the soon-to-be-released CJ2 CPU units and the NS-V2-series touch screen HMIs also supports EtherNet/IP. It provides an environment for setting up all layers of FA networks, and allows users to set-up both CJ2 CPU units and NS-V2-series HMIs from the same software package.
- Data for all PLC or Specific PLC units at the target PLC can be backed-up, compared, and restored. This provides powerful support for data management for the entire PLC system.
- EtherNet/IP and CompoNet are supported in addition to the previous EtherNet, Controller Link and DeviceNet networks. Users can easily build entire networks and set parameters.
- CJ2 CPU units are supported along with their USB ports and built-in EtherNet/IP port. Easier and safer Support Software connections to PLCs are possible using PLC name verification to prevent incorrect connections.
- Tags can be used to access data through EtherNet/IP using an NS-V2 series HMI. Design modifications are easier because address changes at the PLC can normally be made without affecting the rest of the system.
- Less design time is required because HMI screen data and PLC programming can be developed in parallel with improved tag access through EtherNet/IP for full access to memory in the CJ2 CPU unit from an NS-V2 series programmable terminal.
CP1 Starter Kits
Four different CP1 Starter Kits for the first-time users allow hands-on knowledge of why the new CP1L Compact Micro PLC seemingly redefines the term Micro PLC. Packaged with powerful features normally found in higher-end PLC's, the CP1L family offers scaleable I/O, on-line editing, IEC 61131-3 programming, floating-point math, powerful position control, and communications capabilities. Extensive libraries of Omron controls and function blocks simplify program development and shorten design.
CP1L Features
Smart Integration - All-in-one functionality includes high-speed counters, analog, motion and communications
Quick Modifications - PLC programs with on-line editing allows you to make changes quickly
Save Time and Money - Programming software with built-in simulation capability allows pre-testing of programs without any hardware; the simulation software is included at no extra cost
Maximize Effciency - Select the optimum CPU for your application: 14, 20, 30, or 40 I/O built-in
Easily Expandable - Expand CP1L to 160 I/O points using CP1W expansion I/O
Save Cabinet Space - Compact sizes measures from just 110h x 86w x 85d mm
Solve Complex Programming Issues - Built-in floating-point and trigonometric functions
Simplified Configuration - All Omron devices connected to CP1L can be configured, programmed and monitored through a single connection using CX-One Software Suite
Easy Software Development - IEC61131-3 programming allows for easy software development using Function Blocks and Structured Text that are standard in the industry and are included at no additional cost
Save Time - By having program comments and symbols stored locally in the PLC. Programs and documentation always stay up-to-date
