Vision 102 Cognex EasyBuilder
Class Description:

This vision class is designed to familiarize students with the Cognex In-Sight EasyBuilder software. Students will work through lecture and hands-on product labs.

COURSE OUTLINE:

  • Vision System Overview
    • Current In-Sight Vision Systems
    • VisionView HMI for Vision
  • Software Navigation using In-Sight EasyBuilder
    • Getting Connected (Both Camera and Emulator)
    • Tools Available in the In-Sight Explorer EasyBuilder Software
  • Round Tripping with the EasyBuilder Software
    • Customization of the EasyBuilder Interface
  • Vision System Deployment
    • Creation of a Job File
    • Back-up and Restoration of the In-Sight Vision Systems
  • Hands-On Instructor Lead Exercises
    • Part Locating using PatMax
    • Inspection Tools for Presence/Absence, Measuring, Counting, and Identification
    • Sending Data from the Vision System using EtherNet
Lunch is provided for day classes, and dinner is provided for evening classes (dinner available at class start).
